Artist Profile
Artist Statement
My practice explores the intimate relationship between architecture, interiors and emotion, translating the experience of built space into oil on canvas. Drawing on my background in interior design, visual arts and the built environment, I explore historical and contemporary interiors, with a particular fascination for transitional and in-between spaces.
Through layered oil paint, colour, composition and light, I create atmospheric works that blur the boundaries between past and present.
My paintings consider the memories and emotions embedded within spaces, inviting viewers to pause and reflect on the quiet narratives held within our surroundings.
